WHERE ARE WE GOING???

LAST WEEK I included a photo of some of the Kenya Green Family members.   This week I discovered one with some of our overseas members - taken in Nairobi way back in 2000.   Top left is Steven, then Manu, myself, and Esther.  Then on the bottom row is Michael, Anji ( Stevens wife) Hellen (Tweetie-pie) and Elisabeth.     Amazing how time goes by - I didn't even recognise Esther in that hair-do!!   Wow!
And the years have passed and continue to pass.   I see the physical change in this photo in contrast with how we now appear - but can any SPIRITUAL change be seen?        Are we the same, each of us, toward GOD.      How easy not to notice a slip or a slide - a compromise here and there!     Life, in this accelerating world hurrying us all to disaster and away from God, tends to infect us with its pace so that we also speed up.    We want quick results, quick answers, quick FIXES to our problems and challenges along the Way.
Yielding to the NEED to WAIT on God becomes fraught with more and more temptation to just GIVE UP and 'GO FISHING' as Peter did.
Of Course our Testimony has been, and remains, that Faith in God works........but last Sunday as I talked on the matter of Aaron's slackness in his role as a Leader, I found myself faced with my own failure and indiscretion in NOT waiting on God, but rather giving in to a QUICK FIX!!        And to be wholly honest on that score, I must admit it started a long time back.         When Testimony SCHOOL began in the middle 1980s.  We needed to build classrooms QUICKLY - so we BORROWED from the Bank.  A good friend of ours resigned from our Board of Management because he felt we were erring in doing so.     He is still a good friend and brother in Christ - but we went ahead and borrowed, and PAID it all back.     No default, and not a problem.   And because of that we have often borrowed - not just from the Bank but also from the School itself, which has a more assured income than we do in a practical sense - when WE found ourselves short on the Homes side of the ministry we borrowed from the School!          For some time things worked out, but since 2003 the Homes have not been able to climb out of  an increasing debt.    A LOAD indeed to carry, with a dwindling income.   We had departed from the WAY; had been diverted by a 'quick fix' to our problems, and hurried to our doom!      We have had to no painfully realise the error, and to apprehensively wonder how long the Lord will chastise us for NOT trusting in HIM as we have said we DO!
Yes DOOM seems to be facing us, for 'quick fixes' break down quickly and the end is worse than the beginning.     And on SUNDAY last the Holy Spirit took the scales from my eyes - indeed from all our eyes - and we had to confess our fault and failure, and throw ourselves on the MERCY of our Redeemer.       I had not expected to actually be in Church because on the Saturday night I was attacked by severe pain in the region of my left kidney, and early on the Sunday morning rushed to hospital suspecting a kidney stone as on the move.
The doctor told me the usual - drink a lot of water and rest - and sent me back home.    The pain subsided and I attended Church and got up to speak painless and strong!      It will be a morning to remember.    The LORD in His Grace, led us on through the day, and we are putting our house in order.       However, the BURDEN is still with us, but with Promise of Deliverance.      We feel that the Lesson will be not easily be forgotten, and that we may yet have to feel the cost of being so SLOW to see what was happening  - to ourselves AND to the ministry.        BUT in any event we KNOW Who holds our hand, and we KNOW He will not let us go, but rather TIGHTEN His Grip upon us.     Thank you Lord; Thank you Father in Heaven; Thank you Holy Spirit by whom we are taught and enlightened.

======================================

THIS SUNDAY, I shall be speaking again.    This time I shall be using Joshua 3v1-6, here we are told to GET UP and go after the Ark of the Covenant when we see it lifted up before us.     The Ark is a Symbol of God's REAL presence with the people.   Within it were the Tablets of the Law. Aarons budding rod, and a pot of Manna;  overlaid with Gold, proclaiming its holiness, and offering hope to all that followed it.
The ARK was there to REMIND the people who was LORD, and that He only could Guide, Provide, and procure their Salvation.       It was not a 'household' artifact; not common, and not to be taken for granted.   Not to be crowded by ignorant sight-seers, out for the day, looking for a spectacular event or surprise.
Joshua said 'DON'T GET TOO CLOSE TO IT!'
Should the Christian seek to be TOO close to JESUS?        This generation of Believers are encouraged to get close; sometimes to even scrabble and scramble all over Him, excitable, emotional, even uncontrollable in what they feel is a proper demonstration of their love for Him, Who is all they desire.     BUT somehow the Reverence and the Awe - even the FEAR is no longer attainable.    This NEW Ark, this JESUS, has become too commonplace, too familiar; so that the People of God take Him too lightly, too familiarly.  AND of course we are encouraged by our present day priests to see God as 'Daddy', and Jesus as a brother..........but ......!    I wonder are we right to get too close up to HIM who is LORD of all.      CHIEF of all.      would it not be better to stand a little back and get a BETTER view; a better IDEA of what He is Doing, and WHERE He is leading.  Of WHO He truly IS.
'DON'T get too close, so that you can SEE properly, and so that you can KNOW how to follow, for YOU HAVE NOT PASSED THIS WAY BEFORE!'
Sometimes we think that WE know HOW to go; how to follow, and WHERE to follow.   Somehow nothing is thought to be NEW.    Following Jesus has become almost a DULL routine - is it because we are not looking at HIM any more, but just the 'GLITZ' that surrounds Him?     Joshua did not have this outlook - The Ark had a mind and purpose of its own, and it needed AWESOME WATCHING if it was to be safely followed, and the people were not to stumble along the way.
When you SEE JESUS  lifted up in front of your eyes, the eyes of your spirit and mind, GET up ready to SEE where He is leading you today.    It can be NEW ground, new experience, and you will need to be ready - you will need to separate yourselves - YET AGAIN - for special service and purpose - for HE WILL do WONDERS for you.          Does that sound EXCITING?      Well it ought to be; it ought to make us full of anticipation for what will happen in our lives NEXT.

I don't want to feel TOO close to JESUS, so that I cease to respect Him, or to stand in awe of His altogether unique Originality.  I want to know He is in front of me.  I really do not KNOW where, or HOW to go where He is leading.   I know nothing as I should.  I need to take in all that He IS, from a distance.   I want to get the REAL vision of the Wonder and the Majesty of He who Leads me on in a HOLY pilgrimage.

======================================

NOTHING OF GREAT MOMENT to share about the School or the Homes this week.    All the children and our co workers continue to be WELL and busy.     Building works continuing under blue skies and sunshine.    But it is not HOT in the usual sense of that word when used to describe what is supposed to be our DRY SEASON.       Quite cool really - about 24c   -----  Yes I know that is unlikely to be 'cool' to you in the northern hemisphere!

On Wednesday Micah YEGO's younger brother passed away.   Micah and his wife Senge are Mum and Dad in Tyndale Cottage to 36 boys and girls plus their own two children.     Micah is the eldest brother and so he had to go to the far north of Kenya, into Turkana to make sure everything was taken care of.  A long trek by bus on bad roads, taking the timber to make the coffin with them.     His brother had not long been married and was also taking care of their ageing and very sick mother; and additionally his young wife had just given birth.   A tragedy indeed, and the weight of it mainly on Micah.     On the way THERE,  at night, from eLDORET on Thursday the bus broke down in a very isolated and forested area.     The were stranded for the night.      Not an easy time for them.    They ARRIVED  safe and sound, and  now they will spend until NEXT Thursday away for a short break.     They needed it.   Pity it did not start with such a sad loss.

We trust and believe the LORD has kept you all safe, and that He will continue to do so during the week ahead.      We hope we have not caused any to feel disappointed or upset by sharing our error before God. The Road we all walk is not easy, and we are all tempted in one way or another.      We do not want to cover our mistakes but to confess them so that we may all have opportunity to be seen for what we all are - no different to any, but prone to sin, and needing continually to STAND back and to RENEW our vision for our life with God.      He will not leave us;  He will help us to take up the thread of life once more and TRY AGAIN. He IS so Wonderful.

God Bless you, comfort, and lead you on through this coming week.

HOW SHALL WE BE LED?

FOR THE LAST FEW DAYS Kenya has been busy choosing LEADERS.   Each, (Province) area that was once ruled by a Provincial Commissioner, is now to be known as a COUNTY with its own GOVERNOR.     People all over the Country have been looking for votes to make them Governors, Senators and Representatives - at least to choose who will be NOMINATED to be voted for in the March Election.
PANDEMONIUM EVERYWHERE!  Eldoret has been jam packed with candidates for this and that, all vying with each other for favour and Votes.  The noise, confusion, and general inconvenience, has been worse than ever seen before - not violence or civil strife though, but just excitable high spirits and chaos, that has uprooted ordinary daily routines and order on the streets.

AARON, pictured above left, is a Leader.  He was High Priest, and second only to Moses himself.   But was he a good leader?    Well he certainly was not perfect, and  on the occasion depicted in this painting he was busy miss-directing the people he had been entrusted with.   He was leading them away from GOD to IDOL - or should I say IDLE - worship.    I shall be talking about this on Sunday as I once again bring the Word of God in front of our family and local friends here in Testimony Community Church.      One of the most striking questions in scripture is found being asked in this story by Moses.    In Exodus 32v15-26 Moses, having finally come down from Mount Sinai after a VERY long absence finds the people of Israel naked and dancing in front of a Golden Calf, worshipping it.     He turns to his brother, and deputy leader and asks

What did these people do to YOU...
that you should have brought so great a sin upon them?

Having been appointed to CARE for the people (a very mixed crowd culturally and tribally) AARON, instead of keeping them from sinning (from doing what displeased the One True God), helped them to make an IDOL, and to worship IT instead of God.    He had encouraged them on a path that led to DEATH.
WHY would he want to DO that.      WHY would a GOOD leader every want to bring TROUBLE on his people's heads?       What had led him to do this?    Perhaps he had felt forced into doing so by the mood of the people themselves; they may have felt deserted by Moses and his invisible God.   Maybe FEAR made him go along with the masses who were restless and insecure.   Perhaps Moses had died on the mountain with his god........

He had been left to TAKE CARE - be the WATCHMAN over the people.    He was responsible for their lives, and their safety; their welfare.    BUT instead he had IRRESPONSIBLY led them to disaster.
EVERYONE of us is responsible to the other - that we give a GOOD example, and provide safe guidance and advice to each other - each one IS his/her brother/sister's KEEPER.      This ought to be in ALL our hearts for ALL that we live with and mix with.       Remember CAIN ?    He failed because of his spite and jealousy which he allowed to dwell in his heart, and ended up causing the DEATH of his brother in Genesis chapter 4.
SO much the worse when the Leader is responsible for MASSES of people.      And of course in any Society whether democratic or otherwise there has to those who lead!    Men and Women of Responsibility.     But will they have the people's good at heart enough to ensure they become out of control through their own weakness, or through their own ambitions.?

It seems we cannot make sure that THEY will.      We can only make sure that WE will do OUR best to be the Leader we are meant to be - Watchman who will not live to please ourselves or the people around us, but who will b ready always to proclaim the WORD of God without fear or dissimulation.
We should give attention to EZEKIEL 33.   Verse SEVEN says - 'Son of Man, I have made you a WATCHMAN over my people!'    And in verse SIX it is written is written again - 'If the Watchman sees the sword coming, and does not blow the TRUMPET, and the people are not warned and the sword comes and takes away any one of them, THEN that one is taken away in and for his own perversity and iniquity, BUT his blood (his LIFE) I will require at the Watchman's hand!'    The Watchman will account for it.....you and I will account for it!

WELL now our future leaders have been nominated - but not yet finally chosen or elected to be THE leaders of Kenya.     Much prayer is being lifted up to God that the Holy Spirit will be influencing the voting and the choosing.       BUT we know that even then NO ONE is perfect.       AARON was not perfect. Moses forgave him, and God, in His Mercy can forgive us all.      We all are prone to sin, AND also to weakness and weariness - that is why the LORD constantly encourages us in Scripture to BE STRONG, and to NOT BE TIRED of doing well!     BUT there are men and women who have no regard for GOD in any way.    They also are not perfect, and may have no conscience, nothing of God working in them to make them repent or be sorry for their faults and failures that put others in danger.     We do not pray for such people to be elected into public office who live for themselves and not for God.      We pray for those men and women who have GOD within themselves, at the centre of their being, to be elected.  PRAY with us, and for all Kenya at this time, and through to the Election.
PRAY FOR ME!     Let us pray for each other - that we might LIVE the life Christ Jesus came to give us, and not to fail each other in giving a faithful reflection of that Life in word and demonstration, as we go about our work and living - our loving and hating!   Let us pray that the Holy Spirit will strengthen us to KEEP the LAW, and thereby not hurt each other - as per Romans 13v8-14.   Let us pray that we shall not become weary of well doing, and that we shall be found WAITING and faithfully WATCHING for the Coming of JESUS.

===========================================

THE WEEK HAS PASSED generally uneventfully, but the underlying 'miracle' of our daily provision has continued, with gifts just enough to provide our daily bread coming in from many dear partners in prayer - both from  overseas and from Kenya.   One of our old boys also came y with FIVE sacks of  MAIZE, one of our  main staple foods -  to help us with our daily need.  We thank you LORD for all your Benefits, Love and Care.   Our cows remain well and happy, producing milk for us all.   Our chickens continue to produce eggs and meat to amplify our diet.    The gardens, duly watered from above and from below, provide their own continual crops of vegetables.    We ARE indeed Blessed.

JESSE, one of my FOUR grandsons  (Eric and JohnFinney in the UK and Jesse and Jeremy)  here in Kenya, is here with me as I type all this.   He is fourteen, long and lean, and busy working on another computer here by my side.  It is such a privilege, such a real comfort to have a young man who loves the LORD to be by ones side in fellowship and in Spirit - if only for a little while.     If we have any sadness it is that so many of our grandchildren are far away from us, and that we cannot be with them, or be blessed in seeing, hearing and feeling their fellowship in Christ right here with us - (that's why it was SO special to have Tonia and Eric, Stevens children here for Christmas).    May God help each of them all to grow up and be used to BLESS others all through their lives.       In the photograph above is part of the Green Family that is here with us in Kenya.  TWO are not in the picture - MANU 28 and HELEN 23.  They are working and away from home a lot of the time.     IN the photo from top left you can see Edward (Daryl's brother) 42, Me 72, Jesse 14, Daryl 40, and then below from the left again is Esther 68, Becky 12, Jeremy 9 and Carol 39.    It would be so WONDERFUL to have a photo of ALL the Green Family - those in the UK, and those here in KENYA all together one day.   Keep close  together friends, and hang on to whatever family you may have, real or adopted, making no difference.    God delights in Family - yours and HIS.   He never gives up on any one of His, and we should never give up on any of ours.

We love you all, and will not tire of telling you so.   May our Father in Heaven continue to put His arms around you to keep you from falling.    With our affection always in His Spirit

YOU'VE GOT A NEW TOOTH!

NOT A LOT HAPPENING HERE, but I did like this picture of two potted kids (labelled 'United Colors').   So truly uncomplicated patience working out together!!  Would that the whole world were so, and able to so unabashedly accept one another without shame or fear toward one another.    So everyday in need and occupation!    So refreshingly ordinary, and lacking in any suggestion of human pride or superiority!      I liked it.
BUT this week I saw another picture of a child on a potty - with a specially designed I-pod on its lap engaging all its attention......SO anti social from infancy, replacing human  contact with electronic alternatives -   Surely it 'is not good for Man to be 'alone' yet more and more he is being weaned away from the need of 'fellowship' with his own kind, until he finds himself  to be even more ALONE with himself than ever before, and thereby vulnerable to manipulation, and despair.

===================================

When I say that not a lot is happening, I mean that nothing especially sensational or exciting is happening!     BUT of course every day there is SO MUCH going on.    School has opened again, and the New Boarding Hostel is full of boarders, and the classrooms crammed full with some 800+ students, including our 130 odd.     Still a lot of landscaping and change in the compound as building continues, and this means that the Nursery School children have moved their play ground to just outside my Office in Green Cottage - some 120 screaming little 'ad-dabs'.      They are lovely, really!    And I can watch them out of the window above my desk - I am not always glad for their screams - but on the other hand they give my a lot of joy and amusement.     LITTLE children are special.
As they hit teenage and become adults we sometimes hit turbulence!!     This week we have lost TWO of our more senior boys - one seventeen, from Testimony House, who suddenly left us in the night - apparently with the church amplifier AND a guitar!!    He is an intelligent youngster in whom we had great hopes - and indeed STILL have great hopes as we continue in prayer for him.     We have had to report the matter to the  Authorities of course, and our hearts are hurt for him.
The other is 19 and has been a member of Tyndale Cottage family since 1999.      He completed his Secondary education last year, but has not wanted to continue on with any Course.   He insisted that having reached his age of majority (18) he had the right to just leave and make his own way.   He actually called in the District Children's Officer to confirm his rights, and so he has left - again much to the hurt of those who have cared for him these last 15 years.     We have special concern for him since he is not academically clever.
A SAD week?    Yes, a little, but we also have much to make us glad, and MANY to give us JOY,   and hopefulness that JESUS will answer all our prayers.........ALSO we were able to send about 15 of our older Children back to College - always a challenge to be accomplished at the beginning of a Term;  that and the purchase of new uniform.     We Thank God for his faithfulness in moving by His Spirit to make this possible over and above providing our daily bread.      The Annual preparation for our Financial Audit has also been completed.    A BUSY week!   A PRODUCTIVE week! But in many ways not inspiring!

WELL, sisters!   Do you remember these styles from the '40s?     I remember them well, and they quickly bring to mind pictures of my mother, who was a genius with her fingers as a home dress-maker.     I still think women looked so much more attractive and admirable in those days - I suppose a few still may be found that manage to hang on to femininity.     I really have never go used to 'Tights'  and 'Trousers' for women though.       People in the northern hemisphere all say they are a sheer 'necessity' because of the cold and draughty weather.    The 'weather' was just as bad in the 40's!      BUT then women did not seem to consider that looking like 20th century men or medieval page boys was desirable.    Now our modern women look like the average teenage boy, untidy, careless and hobo-like images, hurrying from place to place in their hastily pulled on hose or jeans, and too tight blouses.     Not much to choose between either sex these days clothes-wise.      Just not beautiful!    A GREAT LOSS to culture and fashion.         Truly the world is drifting to a uni-sexual perception of humanity in which neither side can be said to wish to be known either as male or female.      In the end, perhaps, we shall, as King David once wrote of himself, see ourselves no more than 'worms' bi sexual, and NOT definable.
OOPS!    Watch it Green!   No, I am NOT a chauvinist - I just like women to BE women and men to BE men in the best and most praiseworthy ways.

AND NOW HOW CAN I CONCLUDE this week?
I am proclaiming the WORD of God on Sunday again.    I hope to speak from Joshua 3v1-6, found in the Old Testament of the Bible.       Israel is about to enter a new chapter of life and experience.   Joshua virtually tells them to GET READY for it.     He says when you 'SEE' God in your life, STOP what you are thinking about and KEEP HIM IN SIGHT.    Keep you distance, measure your closeness, put Him in focus in front of you - AND FOLLOW AFTER HIM, for HE alone knows the way you should go.     When JESUS Who is the Way, the Truth and the Life is lifted up on the Cross in front of you,  CEASE what you are doing, gather yourself together, ready to go after Him  -  Put your heart and life in order, separate them from all that is unholy in order to DO His HOLY Will.
You may still be a student, a doctor, lawyer, dentist or scientist.   You may be engaged in ANY kind of work or activity - but do not be OWNED by IT - give yourself, your gift, your experience to GOD, and let HIM own you, and use what you are and what you have for His Glory.       You might be seeking academic acclaim; you might be busy making making a fortune, building a house, seeking a partner in marriage; you might be seeking our own honour and praise - BUT you can be deceived!
REMEMBER  - it is 'NOT FOR US, O LORD, not for us, but for YOUR Name, your Mercy, that Glory should be given, for the sake of your TRUTH.'     ( a free rewrite of Psalm 115v1. )

The Spirit may lead us INTO almost anything, anywhere, but it will only BE for God's Praise and Honour.      STOP what you are doing, thinking, and planning!   TURN around and get a sight of GOD .....and let HIM lead you into NEWNESS -

Love you all, and we lift you up as always in our thoughts and prayers to HIM who loves each one of us.

INTO THE UNKNOWN

ONE HUNDRED YEARS AGO the year went on to end with the United States of America summing it all up in this rather glum and  despondent manner. Whoever chose the typeset certainly gave their all to making 'thirteen' take on a 'CREEPY' look; using its unlucky connotation as a number, and even giving the 3 a particularly 'nasty, even evil appearance!
On the other side of the Atlantic, it had become plain that a war was just around the corner, and all of Europe was feeling apprehensive.     WAS 1913 a bad year, especially for England?   If it was, nobody publicly said so!   Or was it just a prelude for worse to come.     WAR did come, the FIRST Great World War 1914-18.    Millions died.  Not a pleasant scenario to dwell or meditate upon.
BUT IS '13' a number to beware of?    Does it affect our sense of well being?     I was brought up to take notice of it - it was UNLUCKY.    Don't travel on the 13th, don't live at No.13...and so on.    My Mum was full of all kinds of such belief.......But to her general horror I never did take any notice of it.    I made a point of 'doing' things on the 13th for the pure delight of defying all the power of the 'old folk law' that people seemed to keep in mind in the 40s.     I always walked under ladders - nothing ever befell me.   I remained untouched and intact.     But my elders considered me heedless and incorrigible.     I have never changed, and so far, in my own life and experience, I have been protected from all the anxieties of the superstitious.
IN DECEMBER 1968, ON THE THIRTEENTH, AND ON A FRIDAY, I left England for Kenya, where I have been ever since.      I believe that all a person has to do in order to live a safe and care free life is to Trust in the Lord..      Remember NOTHING can by any means hurt you if GOD is with you, and IF Jesus is with you in your heart, then GOD himself is with you.     We will not fear.
This is the 5th day of January, and I am striding joyfully into it, determined to make a difference for the Glory and Honour of God.       AWAY with apprehensions, fears, and anxiety - and IN with Faith and Confidence with which to face the Future, and whatever if may bring.       WE are not alone, GOD stands with us.

2013 has dawned for us in Eldoret with Sunny days and much Thanksgiving, for the year past.   A year that strengthened our Faith in Christ, in our friends faithfulness and loyalty, and in our own frailties  that were made STRONG in His Keeping Power.         Satan had a real 'GO' on and off through the year, but he was no match for the One who stands with us each moment of every day.     Truly we were yet again shown how SECURE we are in His Love.       The days have been busy getting the children once more ready for a new Year and Term at School.     Shoes and uniform to buy, College fees to find..........AND this term the New Boys Boarding House for the High School Boarders has to open and accommodate all those needing boarding places in our High School.         The builders are still in, racing to complete and clean up by Monday!     Quite a lot of helter skelter everywhere.     But we all have a good spirit, and a lot of happiness and joy in the air!
BUT THIS IS ELECTION YEAR.      I BEGAN this Blog in an Election Year.     NOT the kind of Election one would want to happen again.    BUT people are full of apprehension that there might...WILL...be trouble in March.          Some elders amongst us are planning to be away from Eldoret during that month.           They are not 'afraid' of course, just want to make sure they will be safe!       The Government has also warned that they may decide to close down the Schools for two weeks during the Election Period.     Perhaps even THEY are jumpy.
Tonia, Becky, Jesse, Eric, and Jeremy
WELL, dear friends, whatever may be in store WE are not jumpy; our lives are firmly in His hands, and we feel free and confident.       Whatever happens, in Christ Jesus, THIS year will be a GOOD year, and we shall be Thankful and Glad for it when it is over, and we move on.
Always ONWARDS is our goal

We wonder WHO will be visiting us this year.      Our son Steven is thinking of coming with his family again 'sometime' in the year ahead.       And our friends from Huddersfield, Ian and Diana are hoping to come out to us during September..........The Door is open, and we shall hope to see many others dropping in as days go by.
It WAS so good to see Eric and Tonia, our grandchildren, (Steven and Anjie's kids) here for Christmas, and it was a good chance for them to meet their cousins, Daryl and Carol's three kids as well - though I must say they all seem hooked up to 'electronics' more than human relationships!      They got on well on the whole - I mean they see so little of each other that they are almost strangers.        Prem and Elisabeth's John and Rachel are even worse off since they visit even less!!.     But we enjoyed ourselves.

I had post from the UK PENSIONS this week.      They phoned me twice in December, quite long and lengthy calls, and sent THREE letters this time, all saying the same thing virtually - That they 'are very pleased to inform me that my Pension has not been settled and the first years payment sent to my bank account.....to the sum of £0.24p per week!       It rather startled me - that they could actually go to  the trouble to send me SUCH a sum, at such an EXPENSE to themselves.       Bit of a disappointment though, for all that - until I realised that I had no real entitlement to a Pension since I had only worked TEN years before entering the Lord's service, and that when I did so I had no thought of a pension, knowing His daily care of me and mine.         SO I Thanked the Lord for the little, and REJOICED that I had never put my trust in ANY man to such an extent that I was in fact dependant on any.   He alone is our Rod and Staff - we shall  not want.

Daryl and I are busy preparing for the Annual Audit.    Quite a lot of work in fact, and I have been hard at it already to day.    Now I need to get back and complete my part before going to check the progress of the 'building works'      The School Office is also busy preparing for Audit as well  AND for a change in their Chief Clerk.      We have appointed a fully qualified public accountant to head the Accounts Office as from this month.      We have also appointed a full time Social Worker.    Both are Christian in faith and life.     We are trusting that they will help us improve our administrative performance, and also the general tone of the ministry here for Jesus.

SO I will bid you farewell.     CARRY ON going on.    We love you too.
Yours in His Grace and Mercy,

John, Esther, Daryl & Carol
