IT IS WITH GREAT SORROW

Samuel Kirui
Sam arrived here on the 30th May, having already been ministering in the Democratic Republic of Congo, and Uganda. He was SO happy to arrive here with us here at Green Cottage, always his home when travelling in Kenya. But he was looking very tired, and after his first day of planned ministry here in A.I.C Fellowship Church, he just ate a good supper, and immediately retired to bed to sleep. It was about 7.20p.m. our time. It is thought that he left us to be with the Lord about midnight. He seemed to have just GONE. His body lay peacefully on the bed, quite undisturbed, his eyes closed.
His Master called, and he at once obeyed that Heavenly Voice, and was gone. We who are left behind must do without him for a while. But he lives still, and we shall rejoice together in the future, just as if no interruption to our fellowship and relationship ever occurred.

Such sudden and shocking news. At least he was at home and he went doing what he loved most, serving God.

Extremely sad day. He indeed answered he call from his master and he’s now at peace, never to suffer again, just rejoicing in heaven.

Glory to God. Pastor Sammy was instrumental in encouraging my children and many others in section 58 Nakuru in the early nineties to commit their lives to God. Maye God rest his soul in eternal peace.matilda sambu.

So sad yet rejoicing in hope for we believe Jesus died and rose again and so will all who believe in Him. Kirui, you are home.
I went to Wesley College with Sam. He was a dear friend of mine. We first bonded over Twinkies! He liked to remind me if that in the years since. My heart breaks to hear of his passing. But I rejoice in knowing he is now with our Lord Jesus Christ! I’ll see you again, my friend.
