A MAN RECLAIMED

THIS SHACK is built of locally made brick and is probably dating back to the 1950s or before. It is very run down right now; the bricks are crumbling and the floor - just mud - is often flooded when the rains are on because the land is actually marshland. Inside this small house which has no running water or sanitation, live a husband and wife together with their three children plus 12 other kids, all suffering from HIV/AIDS. Obi (as I shall call him) is a taxi driver. It was whilst plying this trade that Obi, living at that time a very immoral life, contracted HIV and then AIDS. His life was written off. It seems he had also transmitted his disease to his wife sometime after their two boys had been born, and she succumbed and died, leaving Obi to bring up the boys on his own. He was completely distraught. And at this awful moment of truth about himself and his life he met the Lord Jesus, and his life transformed. But he was not healed. He began to notice others with HIV and soon came to realise that in the area where he lived, on the outskirts of Eldoret, almost 90% of his neighbours were affected. Many never go to a hospital but because of fear and shame are nursed at home until they die, often in abject poverty, pain, and discomfort. Obi decided that for as long as the Lord kept him alive he would devote himself to caring for others with HIV/AIDS. He began to bring some of the destitute children into his little shanty of a home. Other gathered themselves to him, and together they made a team that visit the houses of the afflicted to comfort, nurse and even share the little material wellbeing they have. His labour has brought much joy and comfort to the discomforted and despairing. And through it all he brought up his two sons almost single handed. Some six years ago Obi, still only in his 40s, found another wife, a woman herself stricken with AIDS, but also a Born Again Believer. They have joined together in this ministry in the midst of their neighbourhood, and the Lord has given them a baby girl of their own who is quite free of HIV.

THE FORUM ('The Uasin Gishu Children's Services Forum )visited Obi in the second week of February. He was shocked and touched that we should do so since he and those with him consider themselves almost as 'lepers' in the community, and thought that even we would fear to enter his house. There were about 15 of us, and we spent almost two hours amongst Obi's family drinking tea and eating bread together. He shared his Testimony Joyfully, proclaiming the Love and Mercy of God in Christ. One or two of those helping him also shared their experience and situation with us. It was an exceptionally moving time for us all, and many tears were shed - not only in sorrow but also in JOY at what God had done in this man and those with him. Most of the people around have no employment, but Obi has managed to retain a battered minibus to drive around as a taxi still, and he uses it to proclaim his personal salvation and to witness against the immorality that brought him to his knees. With the pittance he gets from this occupation ( the vehicle is often breaking down ) Obi provides for his family including the 12 orphans that live with him AND also shares what he can with others in the locality. Obi is himself a member of the Forum and is a very Precious Member, full the Victory of the Lord.
Obi wants to see his work grow, and also has a desire to reach out to more children suffering from HIV/AIDS. Once he has 20 young people in his care he can apply for Registration, but I heard from our Government District Children's Officer last week that no one suffering from Aids or any other communicable disease will be permitted to run a Children's Home or work in one.
A RULE that may have a lot to be said for it - but if enforced will prevent and take away the ministry Obi has built up over the years gone by. It will remove the only aid and kindness to dozens of otherwise destitute and untouchable souls. Please pray about this. Some rules are meant to be relaxed in order to demonstrate the compassion of God. THIS Rule needs to be relaxed. We visited two other Children's Homes that day. Both much cleaner, much better supported, much BIGGER that Obi's - but none of us will ever forget the time we spent in his humble home full of the Love and Forgiveness of a Merciful God. He challenged us, and also reminded us that we need to look further than our own front doors, OUTSIDE TO THOSE AROUND US, and to also share what we can to make a difference. Imagine , a good part of our town must be infected with HIV - in places up to 90+%!!! Places in which there is no running water.......no main sewer or drainage. A place where people like Obi live at risk because of tribe and because of his medical status. In January 2008 houses all around him were burnt down by those bent on racial discrimination, including the house nextdoor to him as seen in the photo! He could not run away - too many depended upon him, and in any case where would a man like him run to - EXCEPT to the LORD, and the Lord kept him, his family, and those he cared for around him.

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

You will notice that I am writing on FRIDAY instead of Saturday - well that is because this Saturday is the SECOND INSTALMENT of what began last November - THIS TIME round Michael's prospective In-laws are visiting US at Green Cottage within Testimony House compound. We expect a hundred guests plus our own family and friends. WOW! But of course Michael is still in the UK, and poor Janet will have to 'make-believe' that he is here.
We will be quite busy, but the DAY looks promising, and weather set fair - if DRY! Will hold on to the blog till after all is said and done, and then hope to include a few more photos -
AND THE FIRST ONE HAS TO BE OF JANET, our prospective daughter in law taken at the Tea Party in our Grounds held TODAY - SATURDAY 28th February. Some 100 or more guests from Janet's family attended the function which took place just in front of Green Cottage as from 1.30p.m. Some 30 or so of our own family and friends also attended. We enjoyed a communial meal together and various symbols of good will and unity between our two families took place. Part of this included investing Janet with a special Gift from Esther and me as a sign that is now ours! We bought her a silver set of necklace and earings. The necklace sported a pendant of quartz crystal of great irridecence. NOT the one in the photo. This was removed and exchanged for the new set. Great stuff. It has been a good day and we can now look forward to the actual WEDDING which is NOW SCHEDULED for SATURDAY 21st AUGUST 2009 HERE in Eldoret, Kenya. Just one week before the 40th Anniversary of Testimony Faith Homes.
Well it is getting on for 10p.m. now and I want to close this Blog. There will be ANOTHER one tomorrow of a somewhat special nature..... God Bless you all, and Thanks for praying for us.

NATIONAL HERITAGE

KENYA has a Ministry of National Heritage. I have never investigated what it actually does, but I assume it is concerned with preserving those traditional concepts and principles that define Kenya as a Nation, and what it stands for. This has to be MORE than making sure that the past is not lost. It must also consider how to preserve in the present the landmark characteristics of its people, a national character and PEACE as well.
The National FLAG of Kenya is symbolic of its birth, and of its continuance.
The BLACK bar at the top speaks of the Black African majority. The RED bar in the middle speaks of the National Bloody Struggle for Freedom, and the bottom GREEN bar draws attention to the Natural Wealth of the Land itself. The narrow white bars speak of the PEACE that now binds the Nation together, and the Masai Shield and Spears in the centre declare the national intention to protect ALL.
Whatever politics we may hold this Flag has to be admired for it sets forth the PRIDE of the Kenyan in being African, his refusal to be enslaved, his appreciation of his Country's natural wealth and beauty, and a determination to ensure the protection of all three. Sounds good doesn't it? But do Kenyans BELIEVE in this interpretation? Do Kenyans generally display this national identity? I feel sure that many would say YES! But do MORE than those who fought for this to actually be true, believe it in this present generation? I would like to say a BIG yes, but the truth may be otherwise. WHY? Perhaps because those responsible to put the National Heritage in front of the people, are more concerned with power and money. It was said recently, for example, that our Kenyan Leaders are not the Nationalists their founding fathers were, but more like a culture of neo-colonialists! How terrible if this were to be true, and Kenya to slowly be enslaved not from outside but from within. Probably this is not very 'politically correct'! However, I think it is a valid observation. KENYA is a Nation of many tribes - many nations - all with their own history and tradition and culture. Under ONE FLAG (one IDENTITY) Kenyans have had to GROW into Nationhood, and into a SINGLE National Identity without losing the flavour of their individual inheritance. Not easy - especially when often one and another of them has a sudden urge to lift up their own culture and origen above the rest, and above the ideal of National Unity. No wonder we have to go through situations like January 2008. And this is by no way a thing of the past. Kenyans do not always learn a lesson fast - even when the result is hard to bare. Some few weeks back a Petrol tanker over-turned and spilt its precious contents on the road. Kenyans descended upon the site to glean the fuel pouring from the vehicle. One of them lit a cigarette and in a second, for hundreds of metres around, the majoritry were burnt, scorched, killed. A national tragedy. But just a week later it happened again, and yet more Kenyans rushed to take some petrol for themselves............That tanker also caught fire.

I have spent some time wondering if I should include these pictures. They have originated from Canada, but they were actually taken in London, England. I might be accused of being racial for printing them here. But my heart is clear on that.....nevertheless they are not photos that inspire good relations, or for that matter, even longsuffering and forbearance - even LOVE for ones fellow man.
These people are in all probability British Citizens who have left their own land of origin and come to England to make a new home and life.
They have been 'welcomed in' by the Government of the United Kingdom, and given all the privileges and assistance of a native Englishman (PLEASE excuse me for lumping the Scots, Welsh and Northern Irish together with the English just for once!). But these people did not come to England to be English. They came to be who and what they were in the place they were born and brought up. They have come to colonise, take over, perhaps even OVERWHELM the British culture with their own culture - and their Religion. Yet I should not say 'ALL' since it is really NOT true of all of them.
The UNITED KINGDOM - under fire from those coming in from outside AND from within its own Government - also has a FLAG. It is called the UNION JACK. It is a Flag of Unity between the intrinsic partners of the Union of the United Kingdom. It is also Flag that proclaims the Christian Faith upon which the NATION has been built, and the God IN Whom it has trusted - not without errors or things to be ashamed of - but with FAITH and Respect and Honour. The Central broad red cross is the Cross of St. George, and is the ENGLISH Flag in particular. It has flown down the centuries as a Banner for GOD, the God that upholds the basic tenets of the British Character based on the Christian Faith as taught by Christ and the Apostles. This Union Flag is also to be seen on the Shield of Britannia, our National Symbol. Its Christianity and its Unity of purpose describe the United Kingdom. It used to be a Flag to be proud of - but what about to day. Are the British proud to be British? NO - am not one of the new NATIONALISTS - but I do feel we have as a Nation forgotten our past, and undervalued who and what we ought to be.
Are the British a people that stick to the Christian Principles of their ancestors?
We are a very MIXED race! There is German, French, Scandinavian, and many other nations mixed up in our development historically and culturally - but all have been absorbed by the NATION, and not allowed to form their own little enclaves and mini nations within the NATION. A house divided WILL FALL. A House divided will lose its identity, and forget what it has stood for, and where it is going. WHY do people want to transplant their culture upon another? The Colonial Powers have all been accused of doing this, and indeed it has been adequately proved how impossible this is without tyranny and slavery. As a principle it is odious. The Islamic Nations would NEVER allow themselves to be demonstrated against and threatened in their own Countries by a foreign and militant minority. WHY then does it happen in 'Christian' England? Yes I accept the 'Christian' bit might not ring very true in this material and hedonistic age, BUT why must a nation be maligned because it dose not want to lose its own identity. I say that if a person cannot live by the law and tradition of the land he chooses to live in, he should return to where he came from. No Country should be expected to bow down to the immigrant's way of life - the immigrant must assimilate the way of the land he comes to!

I am getting old. A 2nd World War Baby! I grew up in a world virtually without any God but One. No Mosques or Temples to be seen. Just Christian Churches. King and Country still applied without degradation. We were still allowed and expected to be nationalistic without being considered a freak.
Children were still smacked, hugged and allowed a childhood without fear of being molested, abused, or forced to grow up before their time. It was a more sensible, more secure world.
Perhaps one of the reasons Margaret Thatcher went to the wall was because was a 'true blue' nationalist who still believed in England! She may have been the last for all we hear. Even our Christian 'Mullahs' seem to be willing to be trodden under foot, and Christ with them. Where is the Christian ?- are we become so universally godless that we must be FORCED to serve a god we have never known - another God. BUT God has said "IS there any other God but Me - I know of NO other!' THE BIBLE -ISAIAH 44v8.
MY GOD IS THE GOD OF THE BIBLE. He is a God who sees all mankind to be sinners. He loves each and every one of us, and demonstrates His preference for LIFE rather than DEATH by putting himself on the line in order that we might be SAVED from death. MY God does not reward a man or woman for killing another. He rewards the one that is willing to SAVE a life from death. He is a MERCIFUL God, full of mercy, easily entreated. BECAUSE HE IS MY GOD I find it hard to put myself against ANY person - even though their personal belief and habit might be far from what I would choose for myself. I have friends across many divisions of culture, religion and thought. I have many Islamic friends, and I am glad and happy to say that they are not upset that I am British or Christian, and that we are able to talk about God, and suffer one another's views in genuine love and consideration toward one another. We do not need to hide our views, our faith, our hearts, from one another. There is no need for placards, hatred and murder - we CAN sit down and converse and we can PUT down the weapon and the attitude that threatens and intimidates. We do are free to admonish each other and to espress ourselves. It is possible for men to live together. But there is a right and proper way for this. It IS possible for a Christian or even an atheist to live with a Hindu, an Islamist or a Buddhist without rancour, provided we also respect each others position and even each other's god provided we do not malign, ridicule, or defame. AND IT WOULD SEEM TO ME THAT if God is truly GOD then He should be the One that cares for what He has made, regardless of their colour, their culture, or their temperament.
In Kenya the people must eventually lay down the things that divide them and make for difference between them. We have many races amongst us in excess of the African majority. They still keep themselves to themselves in many ways, often not just in respect of their religious observance, but also in matters of dress and even diet. Until we are all willing to drop the things that draw attention to our diverse ancestral roots and become Kenyan, British, American, there will be no peace. There will be no true appreciation of the individual for who they ARE.
To the non Kenyan living in Kenya as an Asian, an Islamist, or a Luo, Kalenjin, Kikuyu.. I say BE A KENYAN! Stand for the Nation, the National Heritage en total, and NOT just for a fraction of what that is - you - AND your God.
Can I say the same to England? To the United Kingdom of Great Britain, already on the verge of fragmentation with all that this might mean, can I say to all - give up you personal, minority faction. STAND shoulder to shoulder with each other; join hands and hearts. BE ONE. Speak, Think and Act as ONE, and assume together a National Dignity and Love for your Country. Is it possible to reclaim our own National Heritage and Tradition, and to be proud of it? Is it possible for one from another culture to bring what he has INTO the United Kingdom in a way that will not mean living in 'little ghettos' and 'social areas' in order to hang on to what he left behind whilst not fully embracing what he finds in the new and adopted country.
Let us pray for one another. Let us pray for the Tribes and Nations around us. Let us remember the WARS that hurt, destroy, and render homeless and insecure and pray for the LOVE of God to enter these waring hearts and lives, that they might find LIVE.
God Bless you all - I guess I will have offended someones sensibilities, but I was taught in the UK to always call a spade a spade and not to run away from expressing an opinion - there was no such thing in those days (thank God) as 'Political Correctness.' And in any case I have always been a bit of a rebel.
Love to you ALL

VALENTINE'S DAY!

VALENTINES DAY! Most people think of this day as kind of 'LOVE' day in the sense of romance! This idea began to take root in the Middle Ages, in France in particular, when it was noticed that in, or around, the 14th February in Europe birds began to pair off, and choose their mates. And thus it was that men and women began to use this day to make known their own love for one another in some special manner - such as sending a card, or the giving of a flower. People began to say ' Be my Valentine', and they say it still. This phrase conjures up a lot of images associated with the Day. Cards with little hearts, and little poems on them; candy and flowers given to someone we love. Young and old alike indulge in this activity. When I myself was a youth it was the fashion to send Valentine Cards anonymously to the one admired of the opposite sex; school boy, school girl crushes, soon forgotten usually light hearted. This kind of love is often devoid of commitment and depth, and can be as flimsy and unsubstantial as the cheap card that represents it.

Some years ago now, on this very Day, I happened to be having lunch in one of our local eating places, and noticed a young lady hanging nonchalantly about, and wandering back and forth from a vacant table on which rested a bunch of red roses. She eventually left, and the roses were left neglected and alone on the table. I wondered if, perhaps, she had been overly late for a Valentine's 'love tryst'? Perhaps he had grown weary of waiting for her, and left, leaving behind the roses, and then she had arrived, hopefully hanging around thinking he might return, only to then give up and go herself. Disappointed Valentines!

VALENTINE was a real person. He was a priest in Rome, living at approximately 270 AD. At that time Christians were being persecuted by the Roman Government under Claudius 11, and Valentine became one of those that helped them escape. He also assisted Christians to marry each other, which at that time was also forbidden by the Emperor. Because of his activities Valentine was arrested and imprisoned for his refusal to deny Christ as his Saviour. He was later beheaded. This was supposed to have happened in Rome on the 14th February 270, and ever since ,the Roman Catholic Church had it on its calender, as a Feast Day, a Day to remember the commitment of one man to God!
YES, from the day that Valentine became a Christian until the day that he was martyred, the threat of death and terrifying torture hung over his life every day. But nothing deterred him. He was in love! He was in love with God! Valentine always knew that he could be arrested for his beliefs; he knew that refusal to recognise the old Roman gods could put him in prison, and he knew that if once there he continued to witness to Jesus Christ, he would make them angry enough to take his life. But he continued. He continued because he Loved the Lord, and he loved his fellow men.
Isn't it strange that when OUR world talks of Valentines, and Valentines Day, they have little idea what Valentine actually stood for, or was known for, or the kind of love that he demonstrated. Jesus once said this -
'No one has greater love than this,
that one should lay down his life for his friends.'
Valentine demonstrated this perfectly when he laid down his own life for his friends. THIS is the kind of love that we are meant to also reveal on his Day - Valentine's Day. Of course it is not wrong or necessarily out of place to send your loved one a card, or to buy a gift, or send flowers to them on that day. But these are really only outward tokens of what ought to be a far deeper love; a love not just reserved for just one person in you life, but for all men and women everywhere. For Christians especially Valentine's Day ought to be a day in which we all celebrate the Love of God; that love shown to us in the life and death of our Lord and those that truly follow Him. A love that has a depth of Commitment that goes deeper than any other love; that surpasses even the desire to survive. It is the Love of a God who is willing to suffer in order that His creation can be saved and given eternal life. It is the love of a man willing to risk his life to the death so that others might live. This love transcends all the love the world around us has to offer. The world's love is so often self serving and self centred; its purpose is to serve the lover and not the loved one. When it fails to serve the lover, then the object of that love is abandoned. It is loving in order to BE loved;
it is GIVING in order to GET.
But the love of God is totally UNSELFISH. BEFORE we loved Him, he loved us and died for us. John says in his 1st Letter chapter 3 verse 16 -
'This is how we recognise and understand the ESSENTIAL love of God,
in that HE laid down His life for US,
and we ought to lay down OUR lives for those who are our brethren in Him.'
The Church of the Firstborn of God are supposed to demonstrate to the world around them the ESSENTIAL and necessary love needed to live right in front of God, and each other. We are supposed to understand the true meaning of commitment and fidelity in an enduring and endurable manner as we interact with each other, so that the world around us will become convicted by its poverty in this respect. As we think of the commitment and sacrificial love of St. Valentine toward our Lord, Jesus Christ, we ourselves should be encouraged to examine ourselves and re-commit our own lives to Jesus, and to be ready to love one another until it hurts us. Mother Theresa of India once said -

'I must be willing to give whatever it takes

not to harm other people, and in fact instead do good to them.

This requires that I be willing to give until it hurts,'

We need always to keep this in mind, and to make it our standard in all that we do, whether it is toward our family, our workmates, or the community in which we live.

LET VALENTINE'S DAY BE A REAL DAY OF RENEWAL in the Christian life; remember how Valentine stood up against injustice, hatred and prejudice, and in doing so risked his life until it was actually taken from him. He was not afraid, and did not shrink from publicly identifying with the one he loved the most, Jesus our Lord and Master. He put his life on the line for Jesus despising the dangers of doing so. Valentine did not just send pieces of cardboard to a special friend or seek a 'kiss and cuddle' to make his day. He gave himself up to care for all those around him that we in need. He died to himself and lived for others.

I still remember that lonely bunch of red roses left on the vacant table in the cafe - a token of someones love without commitment; of expectations not realised. One walked away in anger at being stood up - the other walked away because one had not waited. Neither love endured or suffered the imperfection of the other. Nothing was achieved. The roses left to wither spoke only of unrequited love and selfish hearts. They probably had said they loved each other, and had arranged to meet, but what had actually been in their heart? We can say that we love God, too, and that we want to be with Him, but are we committed to Him. We might say we will never turn our back or turn away from Him because we love Him so much, but when he seems slow to notice us or life leaves us doubting his love for us DO WE TURN AWAY?

Jesus once said -
'This people draw near to Me with their mouths and honour Me with their lips
but their hearts/minds are far from Me.'

Even Ezekiel wrote '
With their mouth they show much love,
but their heart/mind goeth after their covetousness.'

Let us not love in word only but in truth. Let us remember VALENTINE the man who died for his brethren, not his lovers. Let us remember the Christian who stood with and by his Lord, following in His steps. Let us follow his example, and the NEXT time this Day comes around perhaps we can take JESUS with us into all our encounters and relationships with one another, seriously seeking to avoid hurting each other or using each other for selfish ends. Just as Valentine DID.
Have a new heart and do not faint for doing well.
TONIGHT Esther and I, Daryl and Carol, and our friends Desmond and Virginia Hales will have supper together in Eldoret Town to demonstrate our enduring and endurable love for our partner in marriage, BECAUSE of Christ alive and active within us. We will celebrate the fact that Marriage CAN be everlasting, an ongoing foretaste of that Wonderful and Eternal relationship we hope to have with God.

THE WEEK has been busy - almost hectic. The Children's Forum visited THREE children's ministries in the locality, and the District Advisory Council met and had lengthy and sometimes stormy debate on matters related to the relief of stranded and homeless children. Much we hope will come it all, and perhaps as weeks go by I may have to share a comment or two on just how the State and the Private Sector manage to help needy children in Kenya!
The Lord our God be with you all

Saturday, 7 February 2009

JOSHUA and Miriam have been through quite a challenge together. Joshua has been under the surgeon's knife - and survived! Both are in their 40s now, and living busy lives as they continue to develop NEEMA Children's Centre which they began in 2004. They were with TFH for nineteen years as houseparents in Jacaranda Cottage, and are still only a few kilometers away, and close in every way. Just a few months back in November, JOSHUA began to experience discomfort in his right shoulder and neck. As the weeks passed it worsened and doctors diagnosed it as a trapped nerve. They gave him oral medication and painkillers - all to no effect and after approaching more doctors Joshua was finally told just a week or so ago that he would need an operation! Alarm bells sounded, and both he and Miriam took their anxieties to the Lord in all seriousness of need. Many of those that know and love them joined in and held up their arms in faith. The pain had now become so unbearable that often Joshua could not contain himself and just cried out in agony. Doctors confirmed that whatever was disturbing the nerve (they thought it to be trapped between discs in his spinal column) was now also affecting his kidney and liver, as well as producing numbness in his right foot! The operation was set for Thursday morning of this week here in Eldoret. It took less than an hour and disclosed a small bony spur that had grown and pushed one disc against another, pinching a nerve as it did so. They removed the spur and all was put right. When Joshua woke up the pain was gone. He has to rest a little to let his body relax but that is all. The operation will cost about £1500 but is well worth it for the removal of all pain and anxiety. A small miracle? Yes we believe so - definitely a wonderful answer to prayer. Joshua is by nature a busy bee of a man, never still, always excited, and always rushing from A to B. The mere sight of him slowing down, giving in to pain, looking worried, were in themselves truly scary. He is BACK to normal now. We thank and praise God together with Miriam for His Mercy.

JAMES 'MANU' our youngest son, (now 25) you will remember recently Graduated from his University, and has been in Nairobi seeking employment. When he left home he took his lap top, and whatever he thought he would need for a couple of weeks away. On Tuesday this week he was on the way home, and at 6.30 a,m, went to seek a BUS at the Nairobi bus-station. There he was jumped by thugs who rendered him unconscious and then dispossessed him of all that he had with him including his computer, clothing and graduation ring. He arrived home very downhearted. There is nothing to be done about it; just a very unpleasant and 'expensive' incident.
However he has now found employment here in Eldoret at least for the time being, and he should commence on Monday. He will be working as a computer technician and programmer in the large and prestigious Moi Referral Teaching Hospital at the amazing salary of Ksh.10,000 per month. (£100 per month). His Degree seems to mean little. Anyway it is better than nothing at all, and of course he will continue to keep his eye open for something better and more encouraging. Good employment opportunites are few and far between these days and very competitive. He can do with your prayers all round just now. Quite a number of our your people in the Homes are job-hunting just now. And a group of Secondary School Leavers seeking Training Courses. All of them could do with your prayers.

We have given heartfelt thanks for having been brought to the beginning of the 2nd month of the year with our monthly expenses for January fully accounted for. Since we started the month with nothing in hand, and with a need of some £8,000 facing us, this was nothing short of a miracle. The major part of our need had not been promised, and with a failing world economy and so on, we had wondered - yes we often DO wonder still - if God could actually come up with the goods. I guess that doesn't sound like living by faith!? But at least its honest, and we CAN say that although we HAVE often wondered, we have always discovered that HE IS increasingly and progressively ABLE to deliver us from all our needs, problems, human fears and anxieties.
HE is Wonderful. He IS Incredible. There is no other GOD that He can be compared successfully to!

Most of you will have been grappling with snow and ice. We should be sweltering in the middle of what ought to be the DRY season. Skies are grey and cloudy. Rain, thunder storms, and chillyness are here instead. Uncertain days. Uncertain nights. BUT it is good to be going on into February in peace and quiet. Pray for us. Pray for Kenya. Pray for TFH.

God Bless you all - keep watching and praying
