AT LAST, a spare moment before the Event tonight!   Finally I can get to the computer, and get back on track with a word or two.   Above is a preview of one of the items to be presented tonight at our Annual Christmas Concert.     This will be a Dance depicting the life of Jesus from his birth.  It has to be seen to be really appreciated, but it is truly a very beautiful piece of choreographic mime!  It is quite brief though.    Then there will be a number of  Christmas choral pieces, more Dance, and finally the Nativity Play - all in all the whole presentation should take 2 hours as from 7p.m. our time.
It has been put together by one of our senior boys from Tyndale Cottage, Peter Njugunah and all the dancers, singers and actors, drawn from children in all the four Homes.     We are hopeful that that we shall fill the School Hall which holds about  500 with both children and adults from the locality.  We know at least two other Children's  Homes will be coming.     It is of course quite free, and without any charge.      Just an offering to our Father in Heaven, and to Jesus.     Hope to put up a few more photos later.      Just after I had taken the one above, last night at the Rehearsal, all the lights went out for some hours.

FOR THE LAST four or five days we had had clear skies and sunshine.    It was quite warm as well, but with rather strong, chilly winds which tended to discourage lounging around.    We thank God that we have been able to do all our Christmas Shopping, and can now relax a little and just enjoy the Christmas Program.      BUT TODAY, getting up to even clearer skies, it has all suddenly clouded over once again, and we are advised that for the next seven days it will be cloudy and showery, and probably still a bit cool - NOT  our normal Christmas weather, not what we had hoped for, but it will in no way dilute our usual Happiness as a family, or our general blessing in remembering the Birth of our Coming King.

Just now as I was sitting putting this together we had visitors.    One of our old boys Lawrence Asige, arrived with some of his colleagues representing a group of  a hundred or so others.   They had felt led to club together to bring a Gift of foodstuffs and other items to the value of  Ksh.200,000/- toward and Christmas and New Year needs.      God is so very good and gracious to us all.    They had travelled ALL night as from 1a.m. to arrive at 8a.m. here to present their Gift.    A real demonstration of loving care in the Lord Jesus.    A GREAT gift to us,  and also a Great Gift for JESUS.    We had a photo taken in front of Testimony House, with some of the children, as well.  A glimpse into the material daily miracle of HIS PROVISION.

WE also have just received loving Gifts from AENON from so many others of the  Family. and we cannot BEGIN to describe how humbled we have felt to see and realise God's Love for us through the  channel of so many hearts.    May He also Bless you all with the warmth of his very real love in Jesus Name.

Now I must return to the concert concerns and go to observe the final Rehearsal,     THEN to preparing for tomorrow's Morning Service when I hope to share a little about King Herod's meeting with the the Wise Men.     In the Afternoon the Men's and Women's Fellowships will meet together in our Pastor's house for a Christmas Fellowship and Tea...........

God Bless and Keep you all on tip-toe through this Special Season.     Behold the TRUMPET WILL SOUND at any time and our ears need forever to be alert to catch its sound, and not to miss it.
